Hatayspor’s Sporting Director, Taner Savut Found Dead Near Where Atsu Was Found
After more than twelve days of search, the body of Hatayspor’s Sporting Director, Taner Savut, was found on Tuesday as a results of the devastating earthquakes struck in Turkey and Syria.
Savut had been missing since February 6. and his mortal remains was found close to where Ghanaian wingerChristian Atsu, of the same club, was discovered last week.
“We feel the deep sorrow of losing our Sporting Director Taner Savut…We will not forget you teacher Taner. Rest in heaven. You are always in our hearts.” Turksih side Hatayspor said on Twitter on Tuesday.
More than 47,000 people have been killed by the 7.8 magnitude earthquake so far.
