Turkey Places Arrest Warrant On People In Connection With Buildings That CollapsedÂ
Officials in Turkey have said that 113 arrest warrants have been issued in connection with the construction of buildings that collapsed in Monday February 6, 2023’s earthquake.
Turkish police have already arrested at least twelve people into custody, including building contractors who were involved in constructing the buildings that collapsed.
Meanwhile, it has been difficult for rescuers to rescue victims in Southern Turkey due to unrest in the place.Â
The number of people confirmed to have died in both Turkey and Syria has increased to more than 33,000.
As at now, Ghanaian footballer, Christian Atsu is still trapped under the rubble despite effort by management and officials of Turkey’s rescue team.
