Chris Hughton Drops Baba Rahman, Includes Kpozo As He Names Black Stars Squad To Face Angola



Black Stars head coach, Chris Hughton has unleashed a 25-man list to face Angola in the AFCON qualifiers.


Mohammed Kudus, Daniel Amartey, Thomas Partey, Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey, Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew among others were selected but the coach left Baba Rahman out.


It is still unknown why Baba Rahman who was an integral part of the 2022 World Cup squad has been left out.


Patrick Kpozo was called to replace Baba Rahman. FC Sheriff left back Patrick Kpozo made the squad. He was also in the preliminary squad for Qatar.


Kpozo has featured in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League this season. 


The former Ghana U20 international is yet to play for the Black Stars.
