Ten Hag Will Force Us To Watch It Back - Luke Shaw Speaks After Liverpool Humiliate United 7-0
It Won’t Be A Pleasing View But Ten Hag Will Make Us Watch It Back - Luke Shaw Says After Liverpool Humiliate United 7-0
Manchester United’s left back, Luke Shaw has said that it will not be a pleasant experience to watch a playback of Liverpool’s biggest win against his side, Manchester United considering the number of unresponsive goals they conceded.
He added that even though no Manchester United footballer will be willing to watch the match, but their Boss, Eric Ten Hag will insist that they watch it back, to help help them identify their errors and find remedies to the individual mistakes in the future.
“It’s not going to be easy watching this back. But he [Ten Hag] is going to make us watch it back, and show us what we need to learn from this embarrassment.”, Luke Shaw said.
Eric Ten Hag has also responded to their big defeat, that his side had no winning mentality during the game.
Ten Hag: "I am surprised because I have seen the last weeks and months this team is resilient and has a winning attitude. Second half we didn't have a winning attitude at all. We didn't stick to the plan and we didn't do our jobs.
"We didn't track back and it was really unprofessional. We have seen in the past we can bounce back. After Brentford, after Manchester City. This is definitely a strong setback and is unacceptable. I'm really disappointed and angry about it."
Until their big defeat, Manchester United had lost only three out of their last 22 league games. Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville said they had played like schoolboys.
